Ice Tubs for Ultimate Wellness and Recovery

We carry two ice tub models — the Arctic Plunge and the Arctic Plus. Both are purpose-built for temperature therapy at home, with the Arctic Plus offering the added option of heating as well as chilling. Whether you use it for post-workout recovery, contrast therapy, or general wellness, both models are built for regular home use and require no complex installation.

The Two Plunge Pool Models

Arctic Plunge

The Arctic Plunge is a dedicated cold therapy unit. The built-in chill pump maintains water temperature at your set level without needing to buy ice or wait for water to cool naturally. Set it, leave it, and it is ready when you are. Designed for one person, it fits most outdoor spaces and connects to a standard power outlet.

Arctic Plus (Hot and Cold)

The Arctic Plus does everything the Arctic Plunge does, plus it heats. You can run it as a cold plunge for recovery after training, or switch it to warm for relaxation and heat therapy. This makes it the more versatile of the two — particularly useful if you want to use it for contrast therapy, alternating between hot and cold in the same session, or if different members of your household want to use it for different purposes.

What Are Ice Tubs Used For?

Post-workout recovery

Cold water immersion after exercise reduces muscle soreness and helps the body recover faster between training sessions. Athletes across most sports use it as a regular part of their recovery routine. Having a unit at home means you can use it immediately after training rather than waiting for access at a gym or recovery centre.

Contrast therapy

Alternating between hot and cold — typically a short cold immersion followed by a warm soak — is used to improve circulation and reduce inflammation. The Arctic Plus handles both sides of contrast therapy in one unit.

General wellness

Regular cold exposure has been widely discussed for its effects on mood, energy levels, and mental clarity. Many people who start using an ice tub for recovery end up using it as part of a daily or weekly wellness routine beyond training.

Setup and Installation

Both the Arctic Plunge and Arctic Plus are designed to be straightforward to set up. No fixed plumbing is required. They fill with a garden hose and connect to a standard power outlet. Most people have them running the same day they arrive.

Check the individual product pages for exact dimensions so you can confirm the unit fits your available space before ordering. Delivery is available from our warehouses in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Western Australia, and Tasmania.
